I definitely enjoyed the park and Leviathan was not only my best new-to-me coaster in 2012, it managed to make it's way into my top 10 list. Prepare for a good bit of walking! If you don't want to pay park prices for food, there is a mall nearby with a huge food court.

Are you thinking of flying anywhere outside the US soon? A passport card valid for land and sea travel to Canada, Caribbean, Mexico and Bahamas is offered for 55$ It is not valid for air travel, so you'd still need to go for the regular passport in that case. Kings Island has a picnic table area in the front of the park to set a cooler down (snacks, sandwhiches, drinks, etc), does CW have a spot like that? I guess we could tailgate at the car if we had to, how far of a walk is the parking lot? Is it huge like KI?

Plan is get the passports, drive to CW mid June and spend a Tuesday night and Wednesday there. I wonder if we will need FastLane..

How does the US to Canada money exchange work now? My bank used to change it for me, but they dont anymore. Can i just use US bills?

I would suggest going there as something new, rather than the same old sameold, would be a lot of fun AND they just built the only 300ft coaster by B&M.

You're not in a time crunch, but if you get into one, you can pay extra to get an expedited passport. I got my passport at a county office in the mall of my town. (NJ) I'm not sure if their prices were different than a post office.

To my knowledge Canada's Wonderland does not accept American currency. They will however accept major credit or debit cards where it is possible such as gift shops, restaurants, and the booth where you purchase your tickets. You will need some Canadian currency when you pay for parking, or anywhere else where they don't have the capabilities to take a credit card. You can do a currency exchange at the boarder crossing. Another thing, if you plan to cross the boarder with kids, but without you wife, you must have a notarized permission slip signed by you and your wife. It is not common that they ask for that document, but you need it, in case they elect to require it. I don't recall any picnic tables out in front. Canada's Wonderland is a very busy park. We plan on visiting in 2013. I have never purchased a fast lane upgrade. I will be purchasing fast lane when we visit Canada's Wonderland this summer. In 2010 I was there on a so called slow day, and all waits were 30 to 40 minutes long. CW is a park were fast lane is a must. Good luck, hope this helps.

Even though this topic is related to canadas wonderland this might be a little off topic.The last time that i was at canadas wonderland was in 2009 so i haven,t ridden leviathan yet which is a coaster without inversions.But this picture of leviathan that i saw on RCDB looks like an inversion to me.

I haven,t ridden leviathan yet because i haven,t been to the park since 2009 but this picture of leviathan looks like an inversion to me & leviathan is not supposed to have any inversions.

I haven't ridden Leviathan either, but that turn is no more an inversion than this one (and we all agree that MF does not have any inversions.)
