Hi there, looking for thoughts on visiting Busch Gardens Tampa on the day before school starts again. Busy with everybody getting one last day vacation in or slack because parents are getting the kids ready for school again? We went last Monday and it was way overflowing. Thanks!!

Busy week at all parks apparently. I saw on the news that they had to close Disneyland yesterday or day before because of the crowds. BGT is hot or miss. I've had great days there and then a year later same week it was packed. Just this morning I bought our Funcards for next summer.

More often the former. It's Florida, after all :)

I visited BGT on new years even and IOA on New Years day one year and found both parks very unpacked and I was told they were closing parking and admissions in the days leading up to it due to capacity.

I think you'll be ok.

You won't be so smug when I win the TEOTY award (Typographic Error of the Year)... of course, that honor will more likely be for my memorable "Big Bank Theory", not this one.

Tough call.

Happy New Year to you, Laurie, and the family...and to everyone on URC as well!

Real Happy New Year so far and it ain't even here yet. I just got back a little while ago from the ER. While I won't go into all the gross details (if anyone wants them, contact me privately :)...suffice to say, despite the mild weather, I couldn't ride a roller coaster right now if I had the opportunity.

Mike, waiting for the pain med to kick in...

I hope all is well. Hopefully you get out of pain and back to your normal self. Take care of yourself, Great Adventure opens in 4 1/2 months.
