What is the next coaster I expect or hope to? New parks for me; either Waldameer or Darien Lake

"i did this survey last year, and it generated a good response. So here it is for 2011..very simply:

What was the last coaster you rode?

What is the next coaster you expect or hope to ride?"

Last - Fahrenheit at Hershey

Next - most likely Griffon at BGE

Last: Hellcat at Timberfalls on Friday
Next: Going to Kennywood on the 26th. Most likely Sky Rocket

Last was Volcano at KD (I don't count Avalanche even though I technically rode that last b/c I don't consider bobsleds coasters, actually Drop Tower really was last but that's not a coaster either ;~)

Next depends on who I'm at SFGAdv with but probably El Toro since I don't like to ride KK first cause after that all others seem tame.

I do love the idea of having a thread like this. I'll probably post on it a few times this summer.

Last: A really good front seat Wild One ride at Six Flags America.

Next: Hopefully Hoosier Hurricane at Indiana Beach, maybe Cornball, maybe Lost Coaster.

I think my last ride was the 'ice dragon' [i refuse to call it by it's harry potter themed name].

Depending on which park I go to first [Sea World or BGA]: it would be either Manta or Cheetah Hunt.

Last: Ride of Steel, Darien Lake
Next: Phoenix, Knoebels

Last: Bizarro, SFNE
Next: Untamed, Canobie Lake

Yeah, we could take turns being the "odd-man-out!!!"

Seriously if Mugen joins us we should try to get a sixth to even it out ad reduce the price-per-person on the FP ever so slightly.

Last Coaster I Rode: Green Lantern (aka "Chang") at 6F-Great Adventure. It WOULD have been Kingda-Ka, but when we taxi'd out to the launch track, the ride faulted and was down for 20-30 minutes so we had to split.

Next Coaster I Will Ride: Hopefully something at Cedar Point. Looking forward to Maverick and Millenium Force

Had a blast at Holiday World yesterday. Lovimg the rides at Indiana Beach today. Park's closing in a little over an hour. Trying to get one last ride on the three big boys...

AGHHH. why did I not see this before?!?!

I am gonna be outta town! nooooo! I've been there 7 times this year and you guys pick not only a day that I have off, but a day that I'm gonna be 10 hours away in Michigan!

I will be there in spirit though, as I will be at Michigan's Adventure that day if the weather permits that is. I am going to visit a friend from the 30th to the 4th

I am off from now on sun-tuesday though, so if you guys go the following week then I can go!

We have had a change of plans, we're going to be at KI on Sunday,
from opening to approx. 6PM. We're going to be involved in the Pink Ribbon thing from 3PM to 6PM.

Next coaster scheduled to ride is still most likely Dimondback!!!

I'll be in the sales booth Sunday, and again gone by 3PM so it's unlikely we'll see each other. Good luck with the pink ribbon gig.

Have fun! Unfortunately I have not been in the park at all this year, other than twice in the waterpark. My first coaster of the year will probably be Diamondback if I go to the employee rides night, otherwise it may well be something at Disney this fall.

I went for Mummy. It just made more sense because the single rider line was almost a walk-on. RRR was 20 mins by the time I got around there at 4:00, but I figured I would be better served to come back near closing or opening and just knock that one out later in the week.

Hee, hee. Since the zombie thread was brought back, I felt an obligation to feed it :)

Manta didn't fly since I waited for 10 mins for a "minor delay" that turned into a "major one" (so much so that EVERYONE left the station and queue when they said it was "shut down" and "did not know how long". How often does it happen that everyone will leave?) I was at the bottom of the stairs, so I have no idea what happened, but wasn't stupid enough to hang around to see. (the ride did cycle by the time I had reached the lift/first drop area, so maybe I should have stayed. Went to Kraken instead and there was still a minimal wait (even with one train operations/no rerides, of course :(

Last ride: Manta
Next ride: Cheetah Hunt (BGT for Thanksgiving, baby :)
