2...The ones I've ridden and the ones I haven't

Coasters don't rely on anything...they just cross their fingers and hope the forces show up.

> 3. Has there ever been a death because somebody did not

People have been ejected from rides...technically speaking they failed to keep their arms and legs in the ride...

> 4. What types of computers are used for programming a

I use a windows box for RCT

> 5.How much do roller coaster cost to build.

As much as the park is willing to spend

> 6. Is the rule of how tall a person must be to ride on a
> rollercoaster important?

No, the coaster designers hate kids and just like to mess with them

> 7. How does weather affect rollercoasters?

They get hotter in the summer and cooler in the winter. When it rains they get wet and when the wind blows they might dry off if it has stopped raining.

> 8. Who invented the rollercoaster?

Slartibartfast...it is a little known fact that second to fjords coasters were his favorite invention

> 9. Has there ever been a rollercoaster that was so

The one I tried to build in my backyard for one

Most roller coasters are fairly static structures that do not move around very much so their speed is negligible.

> 11. How are rollercoasters built.

One piece at a time

I post to a message board on ultimate rollercoaster.com

I'm still laughing, Alan...

Very good. Especially the speed and weather comments. Gotta luv it!
