My family's planning to go to Paramount Canada's Wonderland in mid-to-late August (we haven't been there in over 7 years), and I was wondering how to obtain discounted tickets. I know there's a handful of people on the board who work/practically live there, so I'm sure you guys can point me in the right direction. Thanks a lot! Amy |
Hi Amy,
You may purchase tickets at a cheaper price through the park website http://www.canadas-wonderland.com/shop/shopping_general_admission.cfm at $34.99 plus tax. If you purchase your tickets AT the park you will be paying $51.99 plus tax - so there is a difference. The $34.99 (which is not a BAD price) may also be purchased at any Shopper's Drug Mart. Good luck and have a fun trip!

I second that! Hard to find a ticket cheaper than 34.99 + 11% tax. If you plan to go more than once and live close to an other Paramount Park Buy a Season Pass at PCW. Cheap! Cheap!

i usually buy my tickets from CAA for $27 or $29. But I think you might have to be a CAA member and I think it might also be offered during a certain time, (I usually go in late August). Maybe try AAA.

I'll be going next month (July 25th). I found a package deal through Greyhound. For about $87 (after tax), I get a return trip to and from Wonderland, in addition to a 1-day park admission. Pretty good deal if you ask me, especially considering I'm in Guelph.
i guess it's an alright deal if you have no other way of getting to wonderland. If you buy a park ticket online it will come to around $40 meaning the bus is almost $50. If you could drive yourself and a friend, the two of you could split gas and it would be much cheaper than $50 each both ways.
Anyways do you go to university in guelph?

Very true, but if I had any other mode of transportation, I'd take it. lol. Unfortunately, this is the only means of travel for me, so I don't really have a problem paying the price. I have no doubt that it's going to be a great time, so it's all good.

No I don't.

I can get tickets from my work at 29 dollars a person..
i live in waterloo canada. The tickets cost 29dollars so I will not offer any extra cash on it...(not when u have not been there for 7 years and I have one ticket I really need to give away since I cannot go ). The only draw back is the ticket (s) (I can get more for you if you want) will say its 29 dollars (so u cannot sell it more) and it must be used before end of june.

We just got back from our first trip to Canada's Wonderland
Here is what I found regarding discount tickets:
-- Shopper's Drug Mart is not selling discount tickets this year
-- The following discounts tickets are available:
...... $34.99 for a "Single Day Ticket"
...... $51.99 for a "Pay Once Visit Twice" Ticket
You can purchase both on the park website or you can buy them a Blockbuster or Sears (they look like gift cards and are hanging by the registers). They also sold the $34.99 ticket at the hotel we stayed at (Residence Inn, Markem).
...... Note: the park also sells a $25.99 Child/Senior ticket.
We went two days and have two young kids so we bought the $51.99 tickets for my wife and I, and four of the child tickets ($25.99) for the kids.

I just went to the CAA website. It looks like you cannot purchase Canada's Wonderland tickets there. They have lots of tickets to other attractions though. thanks for the tip.

Hi - we will be visiting Canada and hopefully Wonderland in June. The waterpark is not open midweek until July yet Wonderland are NOT offering discounted tickets even although we cannot access all the rides in the park.
Does anybody know where we can get discounted tickets other than online - such as shops/video stores throughout Ontario?
Thanks
You can buy discounted tickets at Macs (there's one right across from Wonderland too!). Pizza Pizza had them last year too but I'm not sure about this year.
Splash Works is also open daily starting June 20th.

cool - any idea how much the tickets are at Macs?
CAA also has discount tickets available. But if Mac's is cheaper, Even I'd go there to buy them.
This great for you guys since you live in Ontario but i live in the province of Quebec. So is there any stores like you guys were talking call mac or something like that, that i can get discount tickets for my familly. It will be the first time we have been there so if anyone has any suggestion it would be great!

Johanne

Jenni_lyn@hotmailcom
Hi so I am Looking for tickets for 3 adults and 1 child, ASAP.... Like I want to go tomorrow! I fyou have tickets let me know, thankx!
Sadly, my discounts for Canada's Wonderland are over (turned out they were until june 30th) and my best suggestion is to buy it from the website.
actually, you CAN get discounted tickets at mac's, but you cannot purchase them at shoppers drugmart. i do work there, and many people have come in to buy them, but we do not carry them.
I tried looking up tickets for Wonderland via CAA and it says tickets are $39... that's not even cheaper than available on the Wonderland website. Any ideas/thoughts?
What banks can you get these $29 tickets at?
I've got 4 Canada's Wonderland tickets for sale . Each ticket is priced just for $29.00 ( very cheap ).However , the ticket is good for June 28 only. Anybody interested ?
has anyone bought the tickets from you?
Do you still have your 4 tickets to Wonderland for this Sunday (June 28th). Please let me know as we are very interested.
