Roller Coaster Tycoon and Windows XP

I learned my lesson when Windows Me came out. My games have been real sluggish and I'm constantly having to reinstall programs/ tweak hardware. It wants to load its own updated drivers instead of manu-facturers stuff. So, I'm not anxious to get XP although it should sovle a lot of things that Me had wrong with it. There would have to be a patch on the official RCT site. But, judging by the lack of updates on that site, I'm not going to hold my breath.

I was having the same problem while trying to play the game on Windows XP. However, there is a patch that I downloaded that fixed the problem. It can be downloaded at the following address:
