Anyone tried to make thier coasters as realistic as possible? This means that all coasters must have break runs at the end of the ride, and must follow the block system. The block system says that no more than 1 train can be in any section of track at anytime. Therefor before one train goes over the lift, the one ahead of it must have cleared the final brake run. Don't wanna wait that long? Put in a block brake. You don't actually have to slow the trains here, but it's there for looks. And it's also fun to put in transfer track tables and sheds to house the extra trains. to do this, just build a new coaster of the same type, color it the same, and use a little imagination. Anyone who wants to see what I mean by it please provide me with an email address and I'll send you some screen shots of my cute creations.

Yeah, I do add break runs at the end of coasters and also occasionly add a mid course breaks. And if a coaster really needs it, I will add trims here and there where needed, only if too intense. I do try to space the trains out as best as I can, but it can be difficult.

I don't place in block brakes to actually trim the trains. I place them just to make the ride look more realistic and to have an easier time spreading the trains out. Some coasters it's really hard to do on (like ones where you have 12 cars running around instead of 3 trains), but I try anyways. And the transfer sheds are just pure decoration. The funny part is that every transfer track I build counts as another ride! But they never open because the don't have a station, entrance, exit, or trains to get into.

I have never thought of putting a transfer track, but I do put a fence around my coasters, keep out the the curious people :)

They're purely for looks. I can give you some screen shots if you provide an email address of the ones I've done if you'd like.

I boxed one of the guest in on a coaster track, the train ran him over, but he survived. Kinda a little overlooked point in the game, guest can't swim, yet they can be hit at 40 mph and walk away. Yeah send me the screen shots at haye3506@rowan.edu. Thanks

If you incress the max-wait time on the coaster
befor it can leve the staiton it will help space the trains apart

Once you unzip them. Go to where you unzipped them to, and click on the individual files to veiw the pictures, and one of the photo programs will come up. Hope this helps.

How to veiw them by Ride_Op at 9/17/99 12:34:23 PM

Try double clicking them. If that doesn't work then rummage around the web for a free or shareware program that can read a files in a .pcx format.
