John E's Pond
Clark's Mountain
Ike's Point
Martha's Vineyard and
Carlos Elna's Joshua View.

Dawson's Creek doesn't count! :-)

Hey, Gary! That's interesting. I'm always fascinated by stuff like that. I think there WERE lots more, but as time went on they just disappeared. For example, there's a very nice town here in New Jersey called Toms River. I've seen some historical newspaper articles where it was "Tom's" River. But as I said above, I guess it was just naturally dropped.

Mike..happy to see a post on this barely breathing board, which I always liked.
