What are your favourite coasters in Europe (Top 3, 5, 10 or whatever). I am not saying these are the best, but they are my favourites:

1.Vampire
2.Nemesis
3.Great Yarmouth woodie
4.Millennium Coaster
5.TRAUMAtizer (I know it's not a custom design)

I suspect Dragon Khan (when I ride it) and Katun will knock off 4 and 5. I'd also like to try Megafobia, Zeus and Stampida etc. Oh, and Air Race!

I havent been coasting i England or Spain, so my priorities may change, since I'm a great fan of B&M. My favourite five European coasters are

1. L'Anaconda in Walibi Schtroumpf, Metz
2. Spacemountain, DLP, Paris
3. Hang Over, Liseberg, Gothenburg
4. Lisebergbanen, Liseberg, Gothenburg
5. Rutchebanen, Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen

Your right - Rutchebanen in Tivoli is not the wildest ride in Europe. But I like the fact, that it have a good first drop and some great airtime - even though its the oldest functioning coaster in the world. And I like the theming. Are there any other wooden coaster, that are themed like a mountain?

1) MegaFobia (Oakwood)
2) Tonnerre de Zeus (Parc Asterix)
3) Nemesis (Alton Towers)
4) Eurostar (German travelling)
5) Olympia Looping (German travelling)
6) Wild Mouse (wooden mouse at Blackpool)
7) Space Mountain (DLP)
8) Big Thunder Mountain (DLP)
9) StarWorld (German travelling)
10) El Condor (Walibi Flevo, or should I say SFH?)

I still haven't done a lot yet - Port Aventura, Efteling, Phantasialand etc - so there's still a lot of coasters left for me to do!)

the wooden coaster at Great Yarmouth used to be themed as a mountain, but now it is just blue panels. The second drop (into the structure) is fantastic and it really is an amazing visual ride. Please feel free to e-mail me for some pictures of it (reedrichards2000@yahoo.com) or check out the website:

Re: B&M Loopers by Graeme Graeme Profile at 4/13/00 9:49:23 AM

A friend (not a coaster enthusiast) who went to Busch Gardens Tampa, said that Kumba made a lot of people throw-up. Must be something about B&M loopers. I have to say, Nemesis travels very fast through its inversions. I prefer to get the feeling of hanging upside down, personally.
