A large centrifugal round cage like contraption that spins around in its own encased dome which now they call the Millenium Dome opposite what used to be the turnpike and is now called the grand prix.

They're commonly called Meteors, Round-Ups, Hearts & Diamonds etc. You see them at funfairs still.
