I'm quite eclectic in my likes when it comes to music. Love rock, Soul, R&B, punk, pop etc but never really been into folk music.

Don't know why. I just haven't.

There was a season of American Folk music on BBC4 recently which..well..I quite enjoyed and it kickstarted this quest in me to find out more about this genre.

On Youtube I came across one of the UK's greatest exponent of folk music: Ralph McTell (Streets of London Fame)

If you have the time or indeed the inclination, please try to take some time out to listen to the linked classic track: From Clare to Here and look at the images.

Music to listen to and lose yourself in.

My thoughts only.
