I don't agree and I feel sorry for OJ Simpson. I don't think he received a fair trial. He was found not guilty by our criminal court system for the murder, yet everyone thinks he is guilty. As a result and because of his celebrity status he is unfairly watched and more attention is given to his case by the DA versus that of an average citizen.

I respect our legal system and as a result I feel Simpson was dealt a bad hand when he was subjected to a civil lawsuit after being found not guilty. An individual who is found to be not guilty in a criminal court should be immediately exempt from a civil suit.

If Simpson hadn't been tried again in civil court then I highly doubt he'd of been in Las Vegas trying to recover his stolen memorabilia. The judgment from the civil suit has put him in a difficult situation.

This case was simply an example of a DA office putting more effort into a high profile case and trying to get revenge for a crime they felt he was guilty of 13 years ago despite the fact that our peers found him not guilty.
