It's common knowledge now, on RCDB etc, so I can post it on here. Flamingo Land is getting an S&S El Loco like Steel Hawg for 2009.

I think I heard it will have a 125-degree drop, as opposed to Steel Hawg's 120-degree descent. Also, as Tim quite rightly told me in an email, these coasters have inversions (which I forgot).

So, I can't pretend it's my thing, but it's another ride to keep an eye on.

Question remains, will they go for the Steel Hawg clone, or the compact version, but with the 125 degree angle drop.

I do indeed. I must admit, I was a bit unfair on these and do think they look really cool.

Is there a more compact version than Steel Hawg? It looks incredibly compact to me.

Yeah, I have it on YouTube... But Steel Hawg is increidbly compact...almost to the point Blackpool could shoehorn it in.
