An Odd Thought About Lightwater and Toad Hole

I've heard Lightwater Valley are removing Toad Hole splash ride. Now this is just pure speculation, but could they be replacing it with a small (in height) Mack SuperSplash?

Plopsaland have just built a 78ft SuperSplash. The boat glides underneath the drop, then goes up a vertical lift and comes down the drop. Surely this is not too much for the park that built the world's longest coaster?

Anyway, just a thought.

Ironically enough I was looking at the said attraction but a few hours ago!!..Family and I paid a flying visit to LV on the way back from Scotland and NE Coast family holidays..

Toad Hole had a sign next to it saying "Sorry..Ride Closed due to essential maintenance"

Looked a bit sorry for itself to be honest..

I don't know how reliable this website is, yet Theme Park Junkies
claim that

The Toad Hole, Lightwater Valley, has now been closed for a couple of weeks as it was derailing, and doesn't look set to open again anytime soon. This might mean it to be removed at the end of the season.

Very sad news for Lightwater Valley, personally it was the quite frankly odd and unique rides like Toad Hole that make the park special and are stronger than their recent off the back of a lorry ride additions
