My take on Jack Rabbit going to Wild Adv.

Jack Rabbit from the old Celebration City is gonna be the latest "new" coaster at WA. Wild Adventures already has plenty of family/kiddie coasters (particularly Swamp Thing, and Bug Out). I'll bet that Dollywood and SDC didn't want Jack Rabbit, so just unload CC's crap to the other Herschend park. Jack Rabbit doesn't seem to offer anything that Bug Out already offers. Jack Rabbit is a sprawling monstrosity, that's not easy on the eyes, and most importantly it doesn't offer anything different. It's a coaster that should've went to a family fun center somewhere, rather than WA. I hope that WA isn't expecting a drastic rise in attendance for 2010. I know that I sound whiny, but I'm waiting for an exciting move at WA, it being the nearest park in my area and all.

I never heard of whining about a coaster you'll be able to ride vs not being able to ride it.

I guess there's an unwritten coaster enthusiast rule....Never "whine" about any family/kiddie coaster additions to a park no matter how many fam-friendly coasters the park already has. It's okay to bitch about SLC's and Boomerang coasters, Oh I forgot Wild Adv. has those already as their star steelie attractions! I can't wait until 2012 when we add a Galaxi coaster or Star-Jet from some park that goes belly-up.

I'll ride Jack Rabbit eventually whenever WA gets an exciting addition.

What about Ozark Wildcat? Is it still standing? Has it been scrapped? Plans to move? Anything? It would be such a shame to waste anything GCI.

^^^The last thing that I heard about Ozark Wildcat was that Cheetah has gotten it's M-Flyer trains. I agree that it would be a waste if no one gets OW. It seems like the logical move for Ozark Wildcat would've been to SDC (SDC doesn't have a woodie), it being already in Branson and all, but that makes too much sense; Herschend rather waste time sending Jack Rabbit to Wild Adventures for whatever reason.

Herschend has also said that they plan to do something else with the property that was Celebration City. Why scrap and move a coaster if there's a good chance you may want to use it again where it is within a relatively short time? Seems to me like it makes more sense to leave it there and use it again then go through the expense of moving it.

And since you're local to WA, then you know that Cheetah can certainly use the trains. Should be fun to see what kind of a difference they make on it.
