Terror on Church Street

Haunted walkthroughs have always been a favourite of mine and yet the most elaborate and most refined of the 'Pasajes del Terror': "Terror on Church Street" eluded me.

I was there on Church Street in 1992 and actually saw the attraction in 92 but was put off by the queues..so guess what? We went to Rosie O'Grady's that night instead. (Some music hall place that was probably just as equally crowded.)

Sheesh!

Over the last nine years or so I have been in contact with a guy (Ed Marzola)connected with the company that set up this type of attraction and the more I learn the more I'm angry with myself for not entering Terror's door.

See link below for the article I put together with Ed.

Did anyone on these boards ever get to experience Terror on Church Street?

I'm still not totally sure as to why it closed down. I suggested a few reasons in the article but I mainly speculated. I know it missed its planned Halloween opening by a week or so (that couldn't have helped matters) but from what I heard it was always busy??

Ah well..shame.

A Pasaje del Terror has just opened in London but at £19.50 per person per visit I wonder how long that will last.

PS the image is of the very first Pasaje del terror ever..It's in Argentina.

Sue and I missed it too when we had our honeymoon in Orlando in 88.

Glad to see you are active with your web site again, now you need to rejoin DAFE!

One Orlando attraction we fortunately were able to experience was the Mystery Funhouse, though we had no idea it would ultimately close down. Some years later the same thing happened with Skull Kingdom.

But did you renew your vows at a park for your 20th? :-)
