After watching Extreme Rides 2 and seeing the tallest drop tower in Queensland, Australia, it got me thinking. The drop tower in Australia is connected to the support of their Reverse Freefall Coaster, Tower of Terror.

Would it be possible to build a drop ride attached to the backside of Superman: The Escape? The tower is taller than Australia's and it would be one hell of a drop. What do you guys think? Can it be done?

Yes, it would be possible to build a freefall ride on the back of the tower. Will they? I highly doubt it because it isn't a roller coaster and there is little opportunity for audio and fire effects.

I think the park will add a drop tower VERY soon. Who would have thought that they would spend the money to remove Psyclone and add a quality woodie. The park is making much better decisions of late.

Last night on Nitro Circus, on Mtv, Travis Pastrana base jumped off of the top of Superman: The Escape. He ended up crashing into a tree when he was landing. Pretty amazing stuff.

Seriously, though, Bill...Seems I've seen the name Travis Pastrana but can't place it. What's his deal? JACKASS type stunts? Extreme sports? What?

Mike, who knows Travis BARKER and Travis BICKLE and Travis TRITT...but not Pastrana.

Travis Pastrana is most famous for jumping dirt bikes in the X-games and being the first to land a double back flip. He has his own show with his friends called Nitro Circus on Mtv.
