What's eveyones wierdest coaster/ amusement park dream?

I am somewhat known for having strange dreams. I have a lot of coaster dreams, and in almost every one of them the ride I'm riding crashes. I never get hurt, and I never get scared. Last night I had a dream I was riding a floorless coaster for the first time at CP Halloweekends(strange enough), and I was having a great time until I put my feet down. My feet hit the cross beams of the track. It kinda felt like sliding my feet in gravel. It was wierd. So I began to wonder if other people have dreams like these. What's everyones wierdest coaster dream?

Awesome Question!..I've got two in mind, one from when I was a KID, and one from this year involving EL TORO..I'll skip that one...I've been waiting years to put the first one down..it's one of only two dreams I remember from childhood..the other was being stranded at Martha's Vineyard during the filming of JAWS!

This one is not a coaster dream, but a haunted house dream..I must have been about ten or so..I'm walking through a dark haunted attraction at Seaside Boardwalk here in Jersey...I always had a bit of a phobia about walk-throughs...so I try a door, trying to get out..the door leads to a series of hidden rooms...I discover two armies of Ghoulies type creatures(and this was LONG before that movie!) ready to wage war on each other..I end up helping the "good guys" by stomping on the "bad guys"...wish I could get more specific, but it was an AWFULLY long time ago.. I've never forgotten it..in my college years, I used it as the basis for a short story in a creative-writing class...

Also..I have a lot of dreams about parks that I don't remember details of...hey, when something occupies one's thoughts the way coasters do mine, it's only natural!..But one consistent trend is that the parks, although they ARE specific ones, NEVER look the same in my dreams as the do in reality!..Dunno why...

Ashley Simpson in Concert.
People wearing low budget Sci-fi shirts.
Dancing.
A Cutting edge, Climate controlled theme park.
Ride ops throwing punches at me.
Attack of the Planter Speakers.
Roswell and The Thing.
Underground Wooden Trams.
Antlers in the wind.
Massive Cubic Monoliths.

Stuff like that.

Oh yeah, I've had at least one coaster dream I can remember.

So here it is:

I was investigating a murder... and then we decided to go to SFMM. I've never been there, but somehow I knew thatthis is where I was. And apparently, according to Eric's TR, it isn't even something you'd like to dream about. Unless of course you dream of them fixing up the park.

So there are all these coasters, and I was still about 15 from the entrance. I'm looking to my left, and I see three coasters. A small launched ride, what seems to be a flying coaster, and I think a B&M invert. Now I wanted to ride the flyer, but we went on the launched ne instead. Now keep in mind I don't even remember who "we" is. Maybe my precinct.

This is one weird ride. Their are a bunch of unconnected cars shaped like teacups. They all launch at the same time and race on what see to be a racing track... sort of. I launch, I go over a raised turn, by which I mean the track is raised and there just happens to be a turn in this section. So I got over the turn and I'm surrounded by racing teacups. Then, I go over the railings, fly off onto the walkway and my teacup starts flying down streets and giving me some very realistic dream air--time on jumps.

That's all I remember. Pretty weird, huh. Well, when it comes to dreams in general, I've got quite a whooper weird one.

My family was on vacation in New York when two Nazi generals come to kill us. We kill them with some holy water we got from an auto parts manager. The rest of the dream included Mo Collins, two other nazis (one being a baby), and my brothers and I talking about a musical skill that my teacher once said she'd talk about enough to make me have dreams about it. Yup.

That was all real??!!

I have had dreams where I simply cannot get to a coaster queue. Not any particular coaster, and not at any particular park, it's all generic. But I REALLY want to ride the thing. The only constant is that I can see there is no line at the coaster. It would be a walk on. If I could only get there.

I have been at parks and I thought I was dreaming but glad I was not. That feeling occurs during those inexplicable park experiences where everything comes together just right to create walk on conditions on my favorite coaster(s) or ride(s).

I always have dreams about roller coasters i haven't ridden. I get to the park, enter the queue, get on the roller coaster, but then before the ride begins i ALWAYS wake up. Bummer.

I've had dreams where I was about to ride either TTD or KK, but they end right before the launch. :( But now that I finally got to ride TTD, those won't bother me anymore.

I've also had dreams like that going to a park I've never been to, but right before we enter the gates the dream ends. :P

The same happens to me as well. Not only about theme parks (Canada's Wonderland mostly becuase it is my home park) but my home as well.

I have had quite a few over the years but there are two that stick out in my mind. They both ocurred back in 1991 about a year after I started to get into roller coasters and Wonderland obsessively.

The first one I remember riding this big white steel coaster. When the coaster went through the loops it always went uphill instead of downhill. Strangely when I was going upside down I got flown out of my seat and landed on the ground. I then watched the train go airborne then land on some track and go airborne again. I thought to myself how a train could do that. The train then went straight up and stopped. The track with the train locked onto it transferred to another track and was released. The train then splashed into the water.

The second dream I did not go on the ride but I was looking at a coaster and I noticed that the first half of the ride the track was steel and the second half of the ride the track was wood.

I also had a dream back in 1999 when I built my own K'NEX roller coaster model and one day I was looking at the park map of Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom and I saw my ride there. I could not believe that someone actually made a real coaster based on my design. I then said to myself that I do not remember being asked or receicing a check to use my design (hehehehehe).

That is so weird b/c I just dreamed this like 2 nights ago. I dreamed I was riding the Hypersonic at PKD and we were waiting to launch, and we did something went wrong with the launch. Well when we got to the top of the hill the train came off the track and we were flying in mid air and landed on the ground but the thing was I was laughing about it in my dream lol. Weird

I had a dream like that where I was at CP and I wanted to ride everything, but I'd try to rush top the ride and get nowhere and then my dad would hold us up somehow and I would just gwet so frustrated.

But the "Magic Mountain" dream felt very real when I rode that teacup launched coaster.

Well since I can't recall my dirty dreams, I'll just have to tell of the ones I have all the time. ;)

One that I used to have about 13 years ago was that I was always on the Corkscrew (CP) and it would derail each time going through the corkscrews. So vivid were they that I didn't ride another looping coaster until I rode Corkscrew in '96... Rode twice that day, and the fear was gone again... for good!

Second, I always have the one where I am in the train, lap bar is down, but I can never get my glasses off, and I am almost blind without them, so losing them would be a fear. It was either that, or I would dream that the lapbar didn't lock leaving the station.

Last week, the glasss dream had a different twist. I dreamt I was on Maggie, and couldn't get my glasses away in time, well I had to hang onto them, and found myself not worrying about them. Of course, Maggie ended up being an Intamin. ;)

I'm always having coaster dreams. I had one last night actually...I was in a park in Germany, and they had a woodie, but it wasn't finished so I only got to ride a bit of it (!). I reckon this is partly down to the fact that Simpsons episode featuring Homer and his restoration of the "Zoominator" aired in the UK for the first time last night, heh heh.

Another dream I have a lot is that we are at some amusement park(it's a different one every time) and we are having a great time ,but it starts to get dark and the park closes and I havn't ridden everything I wanted to. I try and try to convince my family to hurry up so we can get in one last ride, but they don't listen. It's really depressing. When I wake up I still feel depressed, but then realize it was a dream. It's such a wierd feeling when dreams feel so real that even in the dream I say to myself "hey this is really happening", and then wake up and can't believe how dumb the dream really was.

I get a lot of dreams where I want to go to a park and can't make it there...very frustrating!
Then again, that's happened to me. I was on a work trip to LA once with two other guys and the guy in charge promised we'd go to Magic Mountain (I'm from the UK so this was a massive deal to me). But they spent so long faffing about on our free day we didn't make it. I was gutted.
Fortunately I got to go about a year later, which made up for it. :)

I also dream that my former home park, Boblo, had re-opened, and was just like I remembered it. Sadly, the park is now home for up scale homes and bah... a golf course.

Cal, I'm glad you finally saw that SIMPSONS episode..you responded to my original post back in late September about it, saying you couldn't wait till it aired over there.

Is a six week lag time fairly standard from our airwaves to yours?

Well, mine's not exactly a dream but it's something i've always thought about.

So there would be these underground tunnels that would connect to every theme park in the world, and they would lead to a stall in the bathroom. You can crawl through the tubes and then get into the park for free. It would be kinda weird if someone saw a person come out of a stall without seeing someone come in, so there would be this sensor in the tube that would trigger a sort o hollagram of you walking into the stall. Then when you go in, you're inside the park! And you leave the same way.

That's just what i think about when i just really want to ride on coasters. It'd be realy cool if that was true ;D

I did have this one dream where i was at PGA (this was before i went, and my older sis and older bro were talking about their trip there) and i was on Vortexm except it wasn't really Vortex. It was some weird thing where you would sit in these chairs with restraints (nothing like roller coaster trains) and there wouldnt be seperate cars, it was just one long platform on a sort of track, and then it moved. It was really weird. It was just like going forward and then it was over. I remember my friend was so excited and thought it was so fun and i was wondering what all the excitement was about.
