DEAR ARnR

I'm assuming you're reading this... and on behalf of the good people everywhere that you're mocking, I have a few things to say. QUIT making FUN of PEOPLE like ME.

You'd probably find it somehow humorous that the only t-shirts (or casual clothing attire at all) that I own are in some way coaster/park related (outside of my Sunday/professional clothes, of course). Get over it and leave people like me alone. For example, I have a chest of drawers (7 different drawers) where each drawer is dedicated to a park chain - - - - and then the coaster shirts (that exist w/in the parks of that chain) are organized alphabetically by coaster titles. Well, so what? - laugh all you want - but this makes dressing easier for me.

You're probably like several of my non-riding friends
who were confused when they asked me (after my Euro-trip) "how was the Eiffel tower?" (to which I responded) "I don't remember that drop ride - but then we went on so many - maybe I've forgotten it"

Having read some of your bites - you'd probably think it was over the top that I (and a couple of friends - Al W and Allen Ray "of hope") recently attended several parks with the SOLE purpose of RATING the RESTROOMS (by certain criteria - construction company / location / stocking / stock companies(paper and soap) etc / comfort and overall aesthetics. There really is a difference in park restrooms, and I have the VIDEO FOOTAGE to PROVE it.

You'd probably think there was a problem with me wanting to get to the 300th COASTER mark SO badly, that (in order to be able to announce it at an imminent enthusiast event)... I stole a shopping cart from a local grocery store and rode it down my driveway (in 5 different ways - - sitting/standing/backwards - etc) in order to be able to say in good conscious" "Yes, I'm right at 300." At least I didn't lie to my peers.

Anyway, that's all I have to say for now

Actually Chuck, when i first checked out ARnR, I didn't get it, then i read it again and couldn't stop laughing. I don't go often, but I do enjoy it. I was being sarcastic with my earlier post.

Apparently it's a good thing they didn't change their name to "subletelyfanatic". Everyone loves ARnR until they hit them close to home. With all of this going on, it reminds of a well thought TV show here in Canada called the Trailor Park Boys. It depicts life in a trailor park and the crooks who live there in Nova Scotia. Now many don't like the show mainly because they take it serious, but when you let your self go,it's an amazingly funny show. In many ways, that is why I enjoy ARnR. It's like any other hobby, you'll always have sites that poke fun at themselves, and if ARnR made fun of me, I'd have no problem as long as I find it amusing in some sort of way.

I get an E-MAIL that says they're coming after ME now, of ALL PEOPLES! When I READED IT got SO UPSET that I had some kind of an INTESTUNIL problem -

Is that the show where the guys act like they are going to pimp out the women of the park and stuff like that.

There used to be a couple shows shown here in the states that were hilarious if you watched em with somone but were kinda insulting if you watched alone. Kids in the Hall and Benny Hill used to make fun of everything.

Chuck, that is the show that pimped out women to the rest of the park. they opened up a brothel using all the women of the park, but they ran out of women and had to use Corey and Trevor, needless to say bubbles was pissed about it. I am posting on two different names because I thought there was something wrong with my account during the weekend outage. I don't really care how he feels, because he is not paying me to give my opinion. Don't you have more important things to do? You are probably an adult with a crappy job; I am a student with a few weeks off before I teach summer school physics. It is sad that you participate in this ridiculous nonsense on a regular basis.

You can't fool me, Ed. I know what's going on. I can't say I blame you guys, though. I sucked up to Arnr to to get referenced on their site. Then, I get referenced by Rob Alvey. Continuing, Al W gets lumped in with me in a post as being one of "those" kinds of enthusiasts. Next, I was very deliquent getting those chapter 12 tapes to Rob and Vic. Then, of course, there's the fact that ANY of those videos were even made in the first place. Also, I recently admitted to someone (in confidence) that I didn't really like Al's mom all that much. Finally, the last post I remember, I said something like "love ya" to you - and I'm certain that's all you could take.

All I get now is:

"You are not allowed access to this board"

I even tried re-registering as "The Rev" instead of
"TheReverend" hoping you guys would think I was a different Reverend (maybe Cliff Harris). It didn't work, obviously, even though it still says "newest member - The Rev"

If it's any consolation, I am sorry - but I completely understand

I don't know if that evil "One" Aaron has really changed from his error of anger, but rest assured Doctor, you've changed ME.

Not only have I renounced my faith, resigned my church and abandoned my mother (she's looking forward to moving in btw - she's excited about living with someone who can sign her thyroid prescription) -
but my whole perspective for living life has taken a significant turn. All because of... the DOCTOR.

I'm with you coastermom. This is one of the best threads in a long time. I think i'm going to need a benzodiazepine (sedative ie..vailum, xanax) to keep from laughing my butt off. I will give you benzodiazepines when you can draw just one of them. And, years of experience or not, I'll still be making more money in my first year out than you will in the next 5 years or more. I know you will respond with some other idiotic post, but it's a small price for me to pay when I'll be rolling in money.

I have always thought that doctors make bunches of money but never have much time to enjoy it during the daily routine of life.
Take the time honored example of a male doctor (no offense to any female physicians).
They can afford houses larger and more costly (than mine) and drive cars that are more expensive to buy (than mine) but over the years I have been able to attend all my kid's night time school events and sporting events, and other such things, but the Doctor Dads in the area never seem to be there. Not to mention the ability to take trips, just go out "for nothing" on a given weeknight/weekend, that was easy for me to do. Doctors have too much to be responsible for, (yes, I know, providing for the well being of others, yours truly included, but that's another story, so don't go there here). They are always on call and/or work hours at hospitals that I would never be interested in. The family suffers. I think to myself why be a doctor and get married and have kids and buy large houses and fill it with all the latest gizmos money can buy when you can't really enjoy them all? "Them" being the material things obtained by money. The family? Oh yeah, wifey and the kids sure do enjoy it all as the days roll on.

My advice is don't become a married doctor. Don't do that do others. You should take all that money, place it on a lonely bed, and roll in it there. Just don't sweat too much in doing so, you may not look good green.

Not a bad point. Doctors do work a lot of hours, but it is fine if you enjoy working long hours. My father is a lawyer and routinely bills 80 hours per week. He works a lot, enjoys it, and has enough spare time to spend with the family. And, as you get older, you can take more and more time off. I see your point and it is a valid opinion, but I think if a doctor enjoys his job, then I'd disagree with you.

Argue all you want back, but I am done with this thread. I have to start teaching summer physics in a week and can't have such idiotic distractions. I am a new teacher and making $10k for teaching the class, so I feel that I should be well prepared. Have fun spending the rest of your lives on URC.

The best thing about being a doctor is that your wife can cheat on you with the pool boy and take half of everything you own in a nasty divorce leaving you lonely and empty inside. Sure you'll get to see your kids one weekend a month and I'm sure even half of your future salary is more than the rest of us here make combined, but is it worth it when the cleaning lady comes in one day and finds you dead after overdosing on prescription pain medication? Have a good life. God help me if my life is ever in your hands. You'll probably stop halfway through the surgery to check your stock portfolio.
