Alabama Adventure (Visionland) Bessemer, AL Formerly known as Visionland, the park changed its name to Alabama Adventure for 2006. Alabama Adventure is located 16 miles southwest of Birmingham. From I-20/59 take exit 108 and follow the signs to the park. Alabama Adventure has both a theme park and water park, each requiring a separate admission. The theme park features more than 25 rides, including Rampage, the tallest and fastest wooden roller coaster in Alabama. Splash Beach Water Park is 7-acres of wet fun and features tube slides, body slides, a lazy river and wave pool.
