Like the Universal Studios theme parks in Hollywood and Orlando, the attractions here are also based on movies and television. Universal Studios Japan has nine themed areas of the park: New York, Hollywood, San Francisco, Jurassic Park, Snoopy Studios, Water World, Amity Village, Land of Oz and Lagoon. Some of the park's popular attractions are The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, Jurassic Park The Ride, Shrek's 4-D Adventure, Waterworld and Back To The Future - The Ride. Universal Studios Japan operates daily, year-round.
