Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (formerly Six Flags Marine World) is the only combination wildlife park, theme park and ocenarium in the world. Located in Northern California, the park has rides, shows and animal exhibits in three distinct areas called– Land, Sea and Sky. Upon entering, you'll begin your day at the Explorers Outpost, the starting point for the 136-acre park. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom animal exhibits include a killer whale show starring Shouka, a chance to feed dolphins and entertaining sea lions and walruses. The park's thrilling ride lineup, includes eight roller coasters. The park is located 30 miles northeast of San Francisco in Valleo, and is easily accessible from San Francisco, Oakland and Sacramento.
