Sea World Adventure Park is built on 150-acres overlooking San Diego's Mission Bay. The majority of the parks shows and attractions are based on marine animals, but the park is starting to expand its attractions to include some well themed thrill rides. Recent additions include R.L. Stine's Haunted Lighthouse, a 4-D motion-based film and Shipwreck Rapids, a whitewater rafting ride, for the entire family. In 2004, SeaWorld will debut Journey To Atlantis, a combination water flume ride and steel roller coaster.
