PortAventura Vila Seca, Tarragona PortAventura, is the first Universal Studios Theme Park in Europe. Located in the prime spot of The Costa Daurada in the Mediterranean, PortAventura Park features an adventure through five exciting lands filled with rides, shows and attractions for the entire family. The theme park debuted in 1995 and was managed by Tussaud's until their parent company sold their share of the park in 1998. The Universal Resort and PortAventura Park is located one hour from Barcelona by the A7 (La Jonquera-Valencia) motorway, exit 35.
