California's Great America

Santa Clara, CA

Formerly named Paramount's Great America, for the 2007 season the park dropped Paramount from its name and in 2008 added California.

California's Great America is Northern California's most thrilling theme park with more than 50 rides, roller coasters and attractions. Included with admission is Boomerang Bay, California's Great America's in-park waterpark. For younger guests the park has a universe of Nickelodeon fun, friends, and adventures. The stars of Nickelodeon's top-rated television programs step off-screen and come to life to interact with their No. 1 fans in 10 exciting Nickelodeon rides and attractions. California's Great America has the most rides in Northern California: the most kids' rides, the most coasters, and the most water rides. And, it's the only place in the Bay Area where kids can meet and play with their favorite Nickelodeon friends. The 100-acre theme park is located on Great America Parkway between highways 101 and 237, in Santa Clara, Calif. California's Great America is open March through October.

California's Great America theme park is owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company.
