This traditional amusement park with Southern charm is on the border of Georgia and Tennessee, just a few miles from Chattanooga. Lake Winnepesaukah or Lake Winnie gets its name from the lake it surrounds and has been operating since 1925. A selection of classic amusement rides, along with some newer thrill rides, can be found here. Some of the historic attractions include the Cannon Ball wooden coaster, a 1916 historic PTC Carousel and the last remaining Old Mill dark boat ride with a drop that was built in 1926. Lake Winnepesaukah operates April through September.
