Mason, Ohio
Kings Island, formerly known as Paramount's Kings Island, is a 364-acre theme park and waterpark north of Cincinnati and the largest park of its kind in the Midwest. The theme park offers more than 40 thrill rides, including 14 exciting roller coasters. The park can boast of having both the tallest, fastest, Son of Beast, and longest, The Beast, wooden coasters in the world. The newest attraction, Diamondback, is a 230-foot tall, mile long megacoaster that reaches a speed of up to 80 miles-per-hour.
