DisneySea Tokyo Urayasu, Chiba Arguably one of the best theme parks in the world, Tokyo's DisneySea Park was the first Disney theme park outside of the United States to not be based on the original Disneyland Park and Magic Kingdom theme. DisneySea the second gate at the Tokyo Disney Resort debutted on September 4, 2001 and features seven ports all based on a central water theme. The concept for the park was originally slated for a proposed Disney theme park in Long Beach, California.
