Cedar Point

Sandusky, OH
Cedar Point also known as "America's Roller Coast" for being the roller coaster capital of the world is an amusement park and resort in Sandusky, Ohio. Cedar Point is one of the largest amusement parks in the world and offers a vast collection of rides, including a world-record 17 roller coasters. With so many to choose from, its no surprise that the park has become the "must visit" destination for roller coaster fans. Over the years Cedar Point has built an impressive arsenal of roller coasters that range from mild thrillers for young coaster enthusiasts to some of the most intense thrill rides on the planet. The park has broken more than one record along the way. Top Thrill Dragster races to a top speed of 120 mph and then climbs a 42-story tower that is similiar in height to the skyscrapers found in many cities. Millennium Force is a 6,595-foot long ride that begins with a steep, stomach loosing 300-foot drop. For 2007, Cedar Point introduces its 17th thriller Maverick, a terrain roller coaster with two magnetic launches and a beyond vertical first drop.
