One of the world's tallest, fastest steel roller coasters, Steel Dragon 2000 is an "out and back" hypercoaster designed by Steve Okamoto and Morgan Manufacturing. A skyscraper itself, Steel Dragon 2000 rises up 318 feet and begins with a 306-foot drop that accelerates the trains to 95 mph! Two more hills in excess of twenty stories each (252 feet and 210 feet respectively) follow the first. The total ride experience on the Steel Dragon 2000 roller coaster last about three minutes in which time thrill-seekers will have covered over a mile and half of steel track.
Unfortunately, Steel Dragon 2000 has been temporarily closed since a minor accident on August 23, 2003.
