This classic John Allen "out and back" wooden coaster was built in 1963 at Miracle Strip Amusement Park in Panama City Beach and operated there until Labor Day 2004. In 2005, the coaster was purchased and dismantled. The Starliner has since been relocated to Cypress Gardens under the close supervision of John Fetterman and Leonard Adams of Knoebels.

September 5, 2004 - Starliner closes when Miracle Strip Amusement Park in Panama City closes forever.
March 2005 - Kent Buescher of Amusement Parks Group purchases the coaster with plans to relocate it to either Wild Adventures or Cypress Gardens.
July 14, 2007 - Starliner reopens at Cypress Gardens Adventure Park.
Trains have three cars with three rows each, seating two abreast per row.
Height requirement: Must be at least 42 inches tall with an adult or 48 inches to ride alone
