Translated the name means "Roller Coaster". Rutschebanen is one of only a few roller coasters left that operate with a brakeman. Seated in a designated seat in the rear of the train, the brakeman controls the speed of the train. Rutschebanen is a "side friction" wooden roller coaster with a double out and back, figure-8 layout.
