Over 85 years old, Lagoon's "Roller Coaster" remains one of the most popular attractions at the amusement park and is one of only a few wooden coasters between Denver and the West Coast. In 1953, a fire destroyed the front of this coaster. It was rebuilt the following year. Roller Coaster was designed by John A. Miller and stands 62-feet high. Its double out and back layout is nearly half a mile in length.
