This coaster has a unique history since it is one of a pair of side-by-side Mine Train coasters that are original rides at Six Flags St. Louis. The second side was sold to Dollywood in 1989 and later relocated to Magic Springs in 2002. River King Mine Train is also notable it operated as stand-up coaster called Railblazer for 1984 season before the original trains were placed back on track.
