Oblivion

Alton Towers
The world's first vertical drop roller coaster designed by Swiss coaster designers Bolliger and Mabillard. Oblivion features a 180 foot vertical drop at an 87 degree angle into a dark, hole in the ground. Sixteen passengers ride in one of seven "wide" cars with seating for 8 in two rows. This coaster is considered a one-trick pony since it is short and there really isn't much more to the ride after the first drop.
