New Mexico Rattler

Cliff's Amusement Park
New Mexico's only wooden roller coaster is a welcome addition to Cliff's Amusement Park, but it got off to a slow start as the designer fell into bankruptcy midway through construction. Thus this is the final coaster to be ever designed by Custom Coasters. Leaving Cliff's with a half-finished ride, the park took over construction, completing the roller coaster just before the end of the 2002 season. New Mexico Rattler is a family wooden coaster with an out and back, L-shaped layout. The roller coaster standing eight stories tall can be seen from miles and is the park's flagship attraction.
