One of several firsts for Six Flags Over Texas, this is the world's first "mine train" roller coaster. Since its debut in 1966 little has changed on this ride other than the name. Mine Train climbs three lift hills during its run along nearly half-a-mile of tubular steel track. Impressive by the ride standards of when it opened, now it's simply a family ride since the thrill-seekers have moved on to taller and faster things.
