Mantis is a multielement "stand-up" roller coaster designed and built by Bolliger & Mabillard of Switzerland. Three specially designed trains allow riders to experience this 3,900-foot long tubular steel tracked roller coaster while standing up. Mantis begins with a 145-foot tall lift hill and a 137-foot initial descent that accelerates the trains 60 mph. On board you'll encounter four inverting elements, in order: 119-foot tall vertical loop; 103-foot tall dive loop; 83-foot tall inclined loop; and a 360-degree flat spin. Since opening in 1996, Mantis has given more than 13 million rides.
