Surrounding the Las Vegas New York New York Hotel & Casino and visible from the surrounding Las Vegas Strip, Manhattan Express starts from a height of twenty stories. The roller coaster features two successive drops, the largest 144 feet, to reach a maximum speed of 67 mph. Manhattan Express features two inversions, a vertical loop and the world's first "heartline" twist and dive maneuver. Simulating a barrel roll in a jet fighter, the trains roll 180-degrees, hang upside down for a moment 86-feet in the air, and then dive back under themselves. The ride concludes with some bunny hops and quick turns atop the casino roof.
