Knott's Jaguar roller coaster begins inside a Mayan temple where park guests board a thirty-passenger train to ascend a six-story lift hill. Starting above Fiesta Village, the coaster descends into a spiral turn before passing over the temple roof, where a flame effect used to shoot into the air. Jaguar continues by threading the loop of Montezooma's Revenge and flies through a helix before climbing a second lift. The second half of the coaster passes above Reflection Lake and beneath Silver Bullet before turning back at the Timber Mountain Log Ride. The return trek includes one more helix and quick pop of air-time before returning to the temple.
