Flying Turns

Knoebels Amusement Park & Resort
Knoebels Amusement Park has begun another exciting project to recreate a modern day version of the classic Flying Turns "bobsled" wooden roller coaster from the early 1900s. Flying Turns will feature unique five car trains that not attached to a track. Instead, the train rolls down a U-shape wood trough that resembles a bobsled course. Since the train is not restricted by a track, each ride on the Flying Turns should be unique.
Flying Turns roller coaster is presently under construction and expected to open in 2008. . To learn more about this new roller coaster visit the official Knoebels Flying Turns Project web site.
