El Toro

Six Flags Great Adventure
El Toro is an "out-and-back twister hybrid" wooden coaster, offering four linear hair-raising drops (out and back design) with a beastly, twisted finale of multiple highly-banked curves (twister design). El Toro marries the smooth ride, height, speed and exciting twisting elements of steel coasters with a classic wooden design. At opening El Toro ranks as the second tallest and fastest wooden coaster in the U.S. with the second longest drop and as the third tallest and fastest in the world. This roller coaster also breaks the world record for the angle of descent on a wooden coaster at 76 degrees.
