Comet

Waldameer Park
Built in 1951, the Comet roller coaster at Waldameer Park still offers the same ride experience as it did the day it opened. This 1,400-foot long, "double out and back", junior wooden roller coaster was designed by Herb Paul Schmeck and built by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company. Today, the Comet has been designated an "ACE Classic Coaster" by the American Coaster Enthusiasts for preserving the original ride experience.
