Lagoon's Colossus The Fire Dragon roller coaster was selected by People Magazine in 1984 as one of the top 10 coaster rides in the country. On board you'll descend eight stories to fly through two back-to-back 65-foot diameter loops and then brave two high-speed spirals. Colossus The Fire Dragon is a one-of-a-kind roller coaster from Anton Schwarzkopf.

Colossus The Fire Dragon operated from 1981 - 1983 as part of a German traveling fair.

1983 - Colossus was sold and relocated to Lagoon.

Inversions: Two Vertical Loops

Trains have seven cars with two rows each, seating two abreast per row.

Ride capacity: 1,600 passengers per hour

Height requirement: Must be at least 46 inches tall and those under 51 inches must ride with an adult.
