Arrow Dynamics designed Vortex with special trains that are suspended from an overhead steel track. Unlike an inverted coaster, the individual cars on this coaster are designed to swing from side-to-side throughout the ride. Vortex begins with a nine-story lift rising into the mountain in the middle of Canada's Wonderland. The coaster delivers intense G-forces and finishes with an impressive helix over a pond.
