Warner Bros. Movie World introduced this thrilling launched roller coaster attraction in December 2005. Superman Escape is a themed roller coaster that takes riders on an adventure out of the Metropolis subway. The roller coaster begins with a 0 to 100 kilometre (zero to 62.1 mph) acceleration in just two seconds! Launching out of the tube, Superman Escape features 760 metres of hills, weightless experiences, twisted track and high-speed G-forces. The icon "top hat" element sends the train up and down a 40 metre steel structure, reaching a vertical 90-degrees.
