The anticipation and anxiety builds as passengers in the front row peer over the top of the first drop of the Colossus roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Colossus begins atop a 12 story lift hill and features a 115-foot initial drop where the roller coaster reaches a top speed of 61 mph.
