Universal Studios Japan is located in Osaka in the Konohana waterfront district. Like the Universal Studios theme parks in Hollywood and Orlando, the attractions here are also based on movies and television. Universal Studios Japan has nine themed areas of the park: New York, Hollywood, San Francisco, Jurassic Park, Snoopy Studios, Water World, Amity Village, Land of Oz and Lagoon. Some of the park's popular attractions are The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, Jurassic Park The Ride, Shrek's 4-D Adventure, Waterworld and Back To The Future - The Ride. Universal Studios Japan operates daily, year-round.
