The world famous Cyclone Roller Coaster at Coney Island. Designed by Vernon Keenan it cost $100,000 to build the Cyclone in 1927. Today, it remains in operation as the last wooden coaster icon on the boardwalk. The world-famous Cyclone roller coaster opened at Coney Island in 1927.
