This is a dual-track, racing tubular steel roller coaster with a figure-8 layout. Designed by Ron Toomer and built by Arrow Dynamics, Gemini was the tallest roller coaster in the world when it opened. Gemini is unlike most roller coasters since you interact with the riders on the opposing train. Will the red train or blue train finish first? You'll never know, since nearly every ride has a different finish. Gemini is also notable since it has given more rides than any other roller coaster operating at Cedar Point. Since opening in 1978, more than 80 million guests have ridden Gemini.
